Did you spot Endurance in the latest issue of APSE magazine?

We’re on p11 of the Spring issue of the APSE Direct magazine with our take on what is becoming something of a hot-button topic in our industry.

The issue covers everything from Gen Z recruitment – something we are very much engaged in via our thriving Apprenticeship scheme – to an interesting update from the inaugural Big Energy Summit, which demonstrates an industry-wide commitment to reaching net-zero targets that we also wholeheartedly endorse.

But given the growing conversation about a move towards electric vehicles, and more specifically, the pitfalls of such a transition when compared to the opportunities that hydrogen-powered vehicles present, we wanted to use our slot in the magazine to reinforce our position on the matter.

Electric vehicles simply aren’t the most advantageous option… yet.

We know that with rising costs and challenging targets, our fleet already offers the safest, most advanced, efficient, and most economically viable solution to the private businesses and local councils that we work with every day all across the UK. Electric vehicles may become part of that picture in the future, but for now, we believe it is not the time to make that switch.

“At Endurance, we are dedicated to keeping a close eye on industry developments to better serve our customers,” says Neil Jeremiah, Endurance Management Director. “And, at the moment, all indicators suggest that the technology and infrastructure simply aren’t there to support a switch to electric vehicles.”
