What Makes A Good Fleet Partner?
If you’re responsible for finding a fleet supplier for your organisation, you can quickly find yourself making decisions about things you weren’t expecting to have to decide.
A search for specialist fleet providers quickly brings up vehicle types, specifications and manufacturers. Then there are funding options, maintenance packages and different ways of managing the fleet, each with its own set of considerations.
Before long, you can be trying to work out two things at once: who can provide what you need and what you actually need in the first place. That creates an awkward starting point because you’re being asked to understand the solution before you’ve even chosen your fleet partner that will help you achieve it.
James Mulligan, Operations Manager at Endurance, explains:
“The customer doesn’t need to arrive with the fleet solution worked out. They know what their operation needs to achieve. Our role is to bring the specialist knowledge, experience and expertise that helps turn that requirement into the right fleet solution.
“That means asking the right questions before making recommendations. How is the fleet used? What does the service need from it? What needs to happen around the equipment once it is in place? Those answers all affect the decisions that follow. A good fleet partner should be able to bring them together and explain the options clearly enough for the customer to make a decision with confidence.”
At Endurance, our team is here to support what your operation needs to achieve. From vehicle specification and compliance through to managing maintenance, reporting and replacement vehicles, we take care of every aspect of fleet management so our customers can focus on their day-to-day operations.
